This heavy galvanized welded Hesco bastion barrier is a prefabricated multi cell defensive gabion system. Each unit is a welded wire mesh basket lined with a 250 to 300 g per square metre non woven geotextile, folded flat for transport and opened on site to be filled with sand, soil, gravel or crushed rock. The 4 to 5 mm wire and the 3 x 3 inch square aperture give the panel enough stiffness to hold a vertical face while the geotextile liner retains fine grained fill that would pass straight through plain gabion mesh.
The system is used where speed matters more than finish: perimeter security around camps and checkpoints, blast mitigation walls, flood emergency levees, river bank reinforcement and temporary retaining structures. Because units arrive collapsed on pallets, one truck carries a large run of wall, and a small crew with hand tools can stand up, join and fill a cell in minutes without cranes or formwork.

Defence and security contractors specify the barrier for forward operating base perimeters, guard towers, ammunition storage bunding and checkpoint hardening. Civil buyers use the same unit for flood emergency response, where a wall can be raised along a river bank within hours of a warning, and for permanent river training works where the liner prevents washout of fine bank material. Construction companies use it for temporary retaining walls on constrained sites and for stockpile separation in ports and quarries.
Because the liner is fixed inside the cell, the structure also works as a silt barrier and as a blast wall that absorbs fragmentation. Where a decorative finish is required, the filled units can be topped with planting or clad with stone facing, which is common in park and highway landscaping schemes.
Packaging and Quality AssuranceUnits are supplied collapsed, stacked on fumigated wooden pallets and wrapped in plastic film. A twenty foot container carries roughly two hundred square metres of wall depending on panel height, and the loading plan is issued before shipment so the forwarder can confirm space. Each pallet label shows model, height, cell count and production batch.
Quality control covers wire incoming inspection, weld shear testing on every shift, mesh aperture measurement and a final pre shipment inspection with photographic record. Geotextile rolls are checked for weight and tensile strength against the supplier certificate before stitching. We hold a three year warranty on wire, welding and liner, and replacement units are shipped from the next production run. Send us the required height, total wall length, fill material and site conditions, and we will return a panel schedule, quantity takeoff and quotation within one working day.
