Steel Wire Rock Netting Slope Protection High Tensile For Rockfall Containment

High Tensile Rockfall Netting provides a durable and stable solution for rockfall containment. This product combines a homogeneous structure of bi-directional steel wire ropes with double twist wire mesh, resulting in excellent out-of-plane stiffness (punch resistance) and outstanding tensile strength in both longitudinal and transversal directions.

Rockfall netting may be installed on cliff faces subject to ongoing rockfalls as a continuous, passive free-hanging curtain. Designed to contain rather than prevent rockfall, it offers an effective solution for slope protection. As an alternative to passive systems, active restraint systems may be constructed using high tensile mesh in conjunction with rock bolts to prevent further rockfall, particularly beneficial where infrastructure constraints exist at the toe of the rock face.
