Manufactured from double-twisted hexagonal woven wire mesh, each basket is reinforced with heavy-gauge selvedge wire and internal diaphragms to preserve dimensional stability during stone filling.
To ensure maximum service life, the steel core wire is heavily galvanized or coated with Zn-Al alloy (Galfan) prior to being extruded with an engineered, UV-stabilized Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) protective jacket. This dual-barrier protection shields the wire core against acidic soils, marine salinity, abrasion, and industrial runoff, fully compliant with ASTM A975 standards.
All materials, dimensional tolerances, and coating performances are manufactured in strict adherence to ASTM A975 (Standard Specification for Double-Twisted Hexagonal Mesh Gabions and Revet Mattresses) and related ASTM standards.
