Manufactured from high-tensile steel wire with heavy Galfan / Zinc coating and extruded with a resilient polyvinyl chloride (PVC) protective jacket, these double-twisted hexagonal woven wire mesh units provide exceptional structural integrity and long-term durability.
Specifically designed for harsh environments—such as polluted riverbeds, coastal tidal zones, acidic/alkaline soils, and high-salinity highway slopes—the durable PVC polymer sleeve acts as an impervious barrier against chemical corrosion, scouring abrasion, and UV degradation. Once filled on-site with clean, durable stone, these gabions form a flexible, monolithic, and free-draining gravity retaining system that integrates harmoniously with natural ecosystems.
All materials, manufacturing tolerances, and mechanical properties strictly conform to ASTM A975 (Standard Specification for Double-Twisted Hexagonal Mesh Gabions and Revet Mattresses) and related American testing standards.
