Galvanized double‑twisted hexagonal woven gabion basket is a flexible stone‑filled wire cage widely used for retaining walls, slope stabilization, river bank protection and erosion control works.
Made of high‑tensile low carbon steel wire with hot‑dip galvanized coating, this gabion box uses double‑twist hexagonal weaving technique. The double twist structure locks every mesh intersection, preventing wire loosening or breaking under pressure, impact and ground settlement. Built‑in diaphragms strengthen each cell, ensuring uniform stone filling and stable retaining wall performance.
Unlike rigid concrete retaining walls, hexagonal woven gabion baskets are permeable. Water can pass through the stone fill to release hydrostatic pressure, reduce wall damage caused by water accumulation.
