Our woven gabion mattresses are engineered for hydraulic applications, constructed from double-twisted hexagonal steel mesh (2.7-4.0mm diameter) with galvanized or PVC coating. The flat, rectangular units (standard size 2m×1m×0.3m) feature 80×100mm mesh openings filled with durable stone aggregate.
Designed specifically for riverbank stabilization, channel protection, coastal revetments, and dam face armoring, these mattresses provide flexible, permeable erosion control. Internal diaphragms enhance structural integrity in flowing water conditions. The system complies with international standards (EN 10223-3) and can be customized to various thicknesses (150-500mm) for different hydraulic requirements.
